三重大学医学部附属病院 形成外科 講師の石浦 良平 氏をお招きし、「形成外科 国外臨床留学について」ご講演いただきます。
石浦氏は、卒後 12 年目にオーストラリアのメルボルンにあるSt. Vincent Hospital の Department of Plastic,Reconstructive and Hand Surgery の Director であるDr. Grinsell の private clinical fellow として 1 年間臨床留学されました。
同施設は、1970年代にO’Brien先生がLVA（リンパ管細静脈吻合術）を世界に先駆けて導入したことで知られ、オーストラリア初の手移植手術を成功させた実績もあります。
石浦氏からは、臨床留学を実現するまでの過程やその中で直面した困難と得られた学び、さらにはfellow選考に関する現地医師の視点も交え、海外臨床留学の実際について具体的にお話いただきます。

We will be inviting Dr. Ryohei Ishiura, a lecturer in the Department of Plastic Surgery at Mie University Hospital, to give a lecture on "Clinical Study Abroad in Plastic Surgery."
After 12 years of practice, Dr. Ishiura went on a one-year clinical fellowship as a private clinical fellow for Dr. Grinsell, the Director of the Department of Plastic, Reconstructive and Hand Surgery at St. Vincent Hospital in Melbourne, Australia.
The facility is known for being the first in the world to introduce LVA (lymphaticovenous anastomosis) by Dr. O'Brien in the 1970s, and also has a track record of successfully performing Australia's first hand transplant surgery.
Dr. Ishiura will give a specific talk on the reality of clinical study abroad, including the process of achieving it, the difficulties he faced and the lessons he learned, and the perspective of local doctors regarding the selection of fellows.
